Athletic Fields/Arenas & Recreation Centers
Our team has worked successfully in multiple local arena and sports venues in Colorado including Ball Arena on multiple high end renovation projects, team lounge areas, locker room remodels, and sport court/field work on tight timelines and in conjunction with busy venue schedules.
Kennedy Mountain Campus-Activity Center
Improvements to the on-campus Activity Center at the University of Denver’s newly acquired Kennedy Mt. Campus were performed to better accommodate ADA accessibility, gender neutrality, and life safety. These improvements included the installation of a newly paved parking lot, compliant pathway network adjacent to the building, grading for an emergency helicopter landing zone, renovation to the existing restroom for gender neutral accommodations, complete lighting replacement with new LED fixtures for energy conservation, as well as new interior and exterior paint for a like-new appearance.
Ball Arena Point and CANteen
The Ball Arena Point and CANteen projects are cutting edge sponsorship spaces that bring new and dynamic offerings to the main concourse at Ball Arena and pilot the recycling program and Ball Corporation vision within the arena. The spaces are one of a kind custom venues that highlight the use of aluminum and metals to create a unique and special fan experience.
This was a concession stand remodel project we completed with our design/build partner, Populous, to rejuvenate the fan experience at Magness Arena on DU’s campus. The new spaces feature a bar/pub atmosphere and a more engaging and diverse fan experience. Numerous high end and custom features were utilized to create this new and exciting space for DU’s patrons.
HRCA Tennis Pavilion
The HRCA Tennis Pavilion project was an interior TI project at the tennis dome in Highlands Ranch to provide a much needed office space and storage area to the tennis dome, while elevating the finish to promote the high quality campus and facility. The two spaces were outfitted with all necessary MEP systems to conduct business year round and clad in a custom fabricated phenolic panel system.
HRCA Northridge Locker Rooms
The HRCA Northridge Locker Rooms project was an interior complete demo and rebuild effort to bring the old locker room finishes and aesthetics to modern finishes for the community. The project consisted of new tile from floor to ceiling, new hard lid ceilings and soffits, custom benches, and all new fixtures and partitions. The new finishes transformed the space and brought a much more bright and modern finish palette to the locker rooms.
Young Men's Christian Association
Facilities Contracting, Inc. was the general contractor on the interior demolition project to produce an interior building remodel including a gym, common spaces, class suites, office space, and a full service daycare center. The project spanned over 42,000 SF.
