DU Kennedy Mountain Campus-EMS Building

The Emergency Services Building at KMC is a vital addition to campus safety and regional emergency preparedness. Developed in partnership with the Glacier View Fire Department, the facility will support structural wildfire response and house two 43-passenger emergency evacuation buses dedicated to campus use. These buses, along with existing passenger vans, enable full evacuation of students and guests during peak occupancy. Strategically positioned near the campus entrance for rapid deployment, the building is designed to blend with the natural surroundings while offering maximum operational efficiency.
