SCA/UCH Highlands Ranch ASC

New 29,252 square-foot ambulatory surgery center occupying the fourth floor of a new medical office building in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The facility is designed to include five operating rooms, five procedure rooms, pre-op/PACU recovery bays, sterile processing and central sterile areas, scope processing, anesthesia support spaces, imaging and clinical support rooms, staff offices and lounges, patient reception and waiting areas, medical gas systems, and all associated clinical support functions. The project also includes installation of comprehensive architectural finishes, structural modifications, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, electrical, technology, nurse call, access control, and low-voltage systems, along with a ground-mounted emergency generator and interior medical gas storage to support uninterrupted surgical operations. The work is designed in accordance with current IBC, NFPA 99, NFPA 101, FGI outpatient healthcare guidelines, and other applicable healthcare codes to deliver a fully operational, code-compliant outpatient surgical facility for Surgical Care Affiliates, CU Medicine, and UCHealth.
