PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Facilities Contracting, Inc. renovated the Aurora Police Department’s historic 12,000 SF training facility and gymnasium to convert the facility into the Aurora Homeless Day Resource Center. The renovation included demolition of existing locker rooms, storage rooms, abatement of lead tiles, and expanding the existing HVAC system. The completed project includes new ADA compliant shower facilities, laundry facilities, a warming kitchen, dining area, offices for the administration, and a technology center.
